Letter to AK

My AK....I am so proud to be your Mommy.  Your presence fills a room and you're a delight to be around.  I hope you never lose your confidence and strength.  Never let anyone take that away from you.  Now Mommy will have to teach you how to tone it down a little...something I still struggle with as an adult, but I want you to be fearless!  Drive race cars, fly airplanes, learn to shoot a gun and be the best sniper ever! Don't ever let anyone tell you that you can't do something because you're a girl.  Prove them wrong and always believe in yourself! There will be a lot of people in your life that will try to hold you back and put you down. Some of these people will even say they're your friend.  I hope you have enough courage to to stay away from these people and be yourself.  Fall in love....lots of times.  Red, yellow, black, white....love!!!  Don't be afraid to follow your heart but don't be a fool with it either.  Always listen to Mommy when she tells you a boy is not good for you....yes, he'll be cute with his long, greasy hair and his too loud music but Mommy does know best.  I don't tell you no to stop you from doing things that are fun but to protect you....and if you don't listen, I will lock you up in your room until you're 18 and Daddy will make you go to Internet College.

You are smart....you are beautiful....you are hell on wheels and you're only 6!!  I can't wait to see the beautiful woman you become.  You are my best friend and I love your smile and your green/sometimes blue eyes!  There is no one in the world like you and I want you to always remember that and stay true to who you are!

MAKE GOOD CHOICES!
